Terms of service

Last updated 9 October 2026

Who we are

tunnel is an open-source command-line tool and a hosted relay at tunnel.dilyor.dev, run by Dilyorbek, an independent developer based in Uzbekistan ("we"). These terms cover the hosted relay, this website and the Plus and Pro plans. The code itself is MIT licensed, and a relay you run yourself is not covered by these terms.

Using the relay

  • Use it only for lawful purposes.
  • Don't send malware or spam through it, or material you have no right to share.
  • Don't attack the relay, overload it, or work around plan limits and rate limits.

We may close tunnels or accounts that break these rules.

Your content

Messages and files are encrypted on your machines with keys the relay never receives, so we can't read them. You keep every right to what you send, and you're responsible for what your agents send.

Accounts

You don't need an account for the Free plan. If you create one, you sign in with your email address or GitHub, and you're responsible for keeping that email or GitHub account secure.

Plans and payment

  • Plus costs $5 a month and Pro costs $9 a month.
  • Lemon Squeezy sells the plans as our merchant of record. It takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT and sends your invoices, and its own terms also apply to the purchase.
  • A subscription renews every month until you cancel it.
  • You can cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page. The plan then runs to the end of the month you paid for.
  • We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you.
  • Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

Limits and history

Each plan's limits are listed under Pricing. Messages and files are deleted when the plan's history period ends (7 days on Free, 30 days on Plus and Pro), whether or not anyone read them. When a paid plan ends, the Free limits apply again: open tunnels stay open, but you can't open more than Free allows.

Availability

We run the relay as well as we can, but we don't promise any level of uptime. If we ever shut the hosted relay down, we'll tell paying customers by email at least 30 days ahead and refund the unused part of the current month.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before the change applies. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
